EQUISAN Sport Horse Massage Therapy of Utah

Welcome to EQUISAN Sport Horse Massage Therapy

Do some of the problems you encounter while riding not make sense from a strictly training aspect? Is your horse acting differently than normal? Has your horse or pet suffered an injury?

After researching alternative therapies, you will find that Sports massage produces excellent performance results, the benefits are long lasting, its non-invasive, and is well received by the horse.

Laurie Crosswell of Equisan went to Equissage© in 1999 in Round Hill, Virginia to complete her equine sports massage therapist certification. Her certification to work on dogs followed in 2005.

Each therapy session she provides to an animal is aided by her unique background, which incorporates the experience of continually working with horses since 1958, certification as an animal sports massage therapist since 1999 by the leading school in the nation, a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology plus post-graduate study, her 8 years of training as a bodybuilder, and personal experience as an athlete.

Animals as well as people can benefit from massage therapy. It is a gentle, non-invasive and holistic therapy that can relieve pain and stress caused by such factors as muscle overuse, overstretching or trauma. Massage therapy also assists in the prevention of future muscle injuries.

Laurie Crosswell , E.M.S.T., C.C.M.T, is certified by EQUISSAGE© and specializes in horses and dogs. She also does work on various other animals as well. Appointments available worldwide.

Animal Sports Massage Therapy is not a substitute for veterinary care.
